Description

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Jupiter Power is a leading energy infrastructure company focused on developing, constructing, and operating energy storage assets in wholesale electricity markets.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to assist in the preparation of financial reports and supporting workpapers, as well as research of accounting guidance and external filings.

The successful candidate will have key interactions with the Project Finance, FP&A, and general Accounting Team along with the company's external auditors and consultants.

Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for multi-entity structures
Assist in revenue recognition assessments based on Lease Accounting ASC 842 and Revenue Recognition ASC606 requirements.
Conduct technical accounting research and draft memos to support company transactions.

This role requires strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 842 and/or 606, and experience with complex general ledger systems.

A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, CPA certification, and at least 3 years of related experience are required.

This position is office-based with limited travel required.

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year.
