Intel NM (New Mexico) has many exciting opportunities for growth at our manufacturing facility.
Come join us as an experienced Industrial Engineer and together we can grow and develop the next leading technology together.
Industrial Engineers perform functions associated with:Planning manufacturing layout of factory floor.
Determining the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow.
Establishing methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
Developing metrics to measure equipment, factory capacity and output, while identifying bottlenecks.
Establish and assist in establishing training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
Conducting studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
Developing and implementing plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline such as Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
2+ year demonstrated capabilities and knowledge in manufacturing science, data analysis, capacity planning and project/program management.
2+ years of experience with one or more data analytical tools such as MS Excel, JMP, MiniTab, or SQL Pathfinder with basic understanding of data structures/query fundamentals and experience with scripting languages.
2+ years of experience of experience/knowledge in operations research including theory of constraints, queuing theory, supply chain management and factory physics.
Preferred qualifications:
Minimum of Master of Science degree in an engineering discipline such as Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
5+ year experience in Data extraction and analysis with tools such as R, Python, SQL, C, or C++ desired.
Optimization and Simulation skills.
Financial/cost/ROI analysis.
Strong statistics knowledge and application.
Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and applications.
