Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled

SAP FICOConsultant

who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation.

The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Role Summary:
Minimum 10 years of SAP FI/CO experience involving end-to-end project implementations. The candidate should have experience in Project Management. Experience with leading a team of 6-8 team members and with the development life cycle phases.

Role Responsibilities:
*Identify Gaps

*Design solutions

*Manage on-site & offshore teams

*Manage project deliverable

*Project Management Activities

*Liaise with client

*Create opportunities to ramp up the team

Must have worked in:
*AR, AP, GL, AA, and COPA areas

*New GL and Document split functionality (for Accounts other than Apple)

*Automatic Payments with DMEE, XML and iDocs

*Revenue Recognition

*Tax on sales and purchases

*Exposure 3rd party taxation tools like Sabrix, Taxware or Vertex

*Withholding Tax

*Sound knowledge in Intercompany processes through Edi-IDocs

*Exposure to Interfaces and development thereof

*Knowledge in Bank communication

*Lock box and Electronic Bank statement with search strings

*Integration with SD, MM and PS modules

*Working with IDocs

*Local GAAP Reporting using special purpose ledgers

*Foreign currency valuation and translation

*Period end closing process

*Credit Card processes

*Collection, Dispute, and Credit Management

*Multi-currency global landscape

*Development of custom reports

*Implementation and testing of Function modules, User exits and BTEs

Nice to haves:
*Experience of working in technology space

*Experience in Retail space

*Experience in complex IT landscapes with numerous heterogenous systems interacting with each other

*Ability to debug ABAP Code

*SDLC Methodologies like ASAP
