    E.L. Harvey & Sons is currently seeking a dedicated Welder to join their team in Westborough, MA.

    This is a long-term full-time position with a reputable company. If you are someone who doesn't shy away from getting your hands dirty, possesses self-motivation, works hard, and has excellent communication skills, we would like to hear from you.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Conduct welding and repairs on trash/compactor containers, compactor repairs, and metal repair on trash trucks within our fleet.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working space in alignment with Corporate and OSHA regulations.
    • Execute all tasks following established safety protocols, keep records of parts used, and track repair times.
    • Effectively communicate repair needs or tasks while collaborating within a team.
    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    • Involves significant physical exertion, including heavy lifting and pushing of objects weighing over 50 pounds.
    • Exposure to potential physical hazards like moving mechanical parts, requiring adherence to safety guidelines.
    • Work settings may vary from indoor workshop environments to outdoor container repair sites. Spaces are typically well-lit and ventilated but may sometimes involve working in tight or unconventional positions with greasy tools.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Must hold a valid driver's license.
    • Prior forklift experience is advantageous.
    • 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
