- Provide excellent customer service (internally and externally).
- Perform repairs, renovations, and remodeling projects to enhance customer service and address building issues.
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks for plumbing, electrical, lighting, and HVAC systems in assigned facilities.
- Help with general maintenance duties, including seasonal tasks like snow removal and lawn care.
- Assist in testing emergency generators when needed.
- Complete facility inspection reports to identify and address deficiencies.
- May need to lift heavy objects and perform labor-intensive tasks.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, comply with policies, and undergo necessary training.
- Work indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Travel may be required to job sites.
- Be an active member of the Facilities Department to support the achievement of annual goals.
- High school diploma.
- Preferably a two-year college degree in a related field or specialized trade training.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, masonry, painting, electrical, and carpentry.
- Skill in using tools and equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
- Flexibility to travel and adjust work schedules.
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or construction is a plus.
