We have a summer 2024 internship at our Sharon, MA Operations Center within the Marketing Department:

Overview

This role calls for a dynamic and creative person who will play a pivotal part in elevating our online presence. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative and technical skills aimed at enhancing our digital footprint across various platforms. The primary responsibilities will include the development of engaging content, the improvement of website functionality and user experience, and the implementation of effective social media strategies. By joining our team, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the digital dialogue between our credit union and its members, fostering a connected and financially empowered community.

Essential duties/responsibilities

Collaborate with the marketing team to review and refresh website copy to update messaging, user engagement, and clarity, ensuring alignment with our brand's voice and standards.
Utilize HTML and design skills to select images for our website, reflecting the credit union's brand standards.
Write financial blogs on a regular basis that will provide valuable content to members about financial wellness and services.
Create content for social networks to elevate brand recognition and engage our audience, leveraging current trends and insights.
Perform SEO updates on the website, including keyword research and implementation, to optimize content and improve search engine rankings, driving organic traffic to our site.

Requirements

Current college student studying Marketing
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
Possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle projects.
Strong Interpersonal, problem solving, and time-management skills.
