    Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    Process Optimization:Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and quality.
    Develop and implement process improvements, including equipment upgrades, tooling modifications, and workflow enhancements.


    Product Design Support:
    Collaborate with product design teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new product designs.
    Provide input on design for manufacturability (DFM) considerations and recommend design modifications as needed.


    Equipment and Tooling Design:
    Design and develop manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and tooling to support production operations.
    Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of equipment and materials.


    Quality Assurance:
    Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
    Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality-related issues.


    Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and specifications.
    Prepare reports and presentations to communicate key metrics, performance improvements, and project updates to stakeholders.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, fabrication, or related roles.
    Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for equipment and tooling design.
    Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, and assembly.
    Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.$60 - $63 an hour
