    Job Summary

    The Cath Lab Manager assesses, plans, implements and evaluates delivery of patient care for departments assigned. He/she provides managerial support to the Director by providing supervision and evaluation of all assigned staff. He/she contributes to the Cath Lab department and the hospital through support of the department program philosophy and objectives. Continuously evaluates work environment and processes to identify safety risks. Address safety issues identified or brought forward by staff and resolve as appropriate.

    • Provides day-to-day leadership and direction to Cath Lab staff. Manages schedules, timekeeping and workflow as appropriate.
    • Mentors, trains, assists with goal setting and performance development of Cath Lab Staff
    • Assists with the staffing and onboarding of new employees
    • Provides input in formulating patient care policies and procedures for Cath Lab services.
    • Supervises all Cath Lab and Imaging activities related to patient care.
    • Function as a resource for Cath Lab and Imaging staff as needed.
    • Monitors and evaluates Cath Lab quality assurance and safety.
    • Collaborates with the Director to align department with hospital pillars of performance
    • Attends department and staff meetings and participates in hospital wide committees as assigned
    • Employee must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the C-I-CARE Standards of the Hospital. C-I-CARE is the foundation of Stanford Healthcare - ValleyCare's patient-experience and represents a framework for patient-centered interactions
    Job Qualifications

    Education


    • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
    • BSN preferred
    Experience


    • Five years recent nursing experience in a Cath Lab setting.
    • Two years management experience.
    Licenses and Certifications


    • Current CA RN License.
    • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification and ACLS
    • Active membership in Professional Nursing organization desirable
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


    • Strong leadership abilities, leading by example
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to work in a fast-paced changing environment
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Organized and detail oriented
    • Basic knowledge of budgeting
    • Strong computer skills
    • Strong knowledge or safety, quality management and join commission standards for department

    Base Pay Scale:
    Generally starting at $ $92.70 per hour


    The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
