- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs of residents.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each resident.
- Provide evidence-based therapy modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed therapy.
- Facilitate individual therapy sessions to address issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and other mental health concerns.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated and integrated care for residents.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and evaluate residents' progress throughout treatment, adjusting treatment plans as needed to support their ongoing recovery.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
- Educate residents and their families about mental health, addiction, coping skills, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision sessions to enhance professional development and ensure quality of care.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health professional
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with residents from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Understanding of and commitment to trauma-informed care principles.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
