    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Therapist to join our team. The Primary Therapist will play a pivotal role in providing individualized therapy and support to residents throughout their stay at our residential treatment center. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals seeking treatment and support.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs of residents.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each resident.
    • Provide evidence-based therapy modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed therapy.
    • Facilitate individual therapy sessions to address issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and other mental health concerns.
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated and integrated care for residents.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
    • Monitor and evaluate residents' progress throughout treatment, adjusting treatment plans as needed to support their ongoing recovery.
    • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
    • Educate residents and their families about mental health, addiction, coping skills, and relapse prevention strategies.
    • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision sessions to enhance professional development and ensure quality of care.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution.
    • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health professional
    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with residents from diverse backgrounds.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
    • Understanding of and commitment to trauma-informed care principles.
    • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
    • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Willingness to adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice.
