    PRIMARY PURPOSE

    The primary purpose of this position is to unload, receive and put away inbound freight; select and fill store orders, load

    trailers for store delivery, and replenish selecting locations.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Select store orders, following system guidelines while maintaining appropriate standards and adhering to safety practices, standards and procedures
    • Maintain selection accuracy performance requirements
    • Must meet attendance program requirements
    • Load and unload trailers in accordance with standards and procedures
    • Immediately notify supervision of any deviations from normal routine
    • Put away and replenish all palletized merchandise in accordance with company safety practices, standards and procedures
    • Ensure that all replenished products are free from binding material and singularly palletized for selecting locations
    • Unload all inbound freight and properly prepare the product to be received and put away
    • Receive product in accordance with current company standards, practices and procedures
    • Maintain, assist, and promote cleanliness of the building in compliance with all governmental regulations and current company policies and practices
    • Immediately alert staff and management to conditions or situations regarding operational or safety deficiencies
    • Adherence to Safe Quality (SQF) guidelines and procedures
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner
    • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
    • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Shift Hours: 3pm until 1:30am; mandatory OT required

    Job Cycles:

    Lift/carry: 55 lbs.


    • Stand 25%, Sit 0%, Walk 75%

    Category IV:
    Lifting, carrying, P/P up to 55 lb.


    • Must pass physical examination and lift capacity test
