Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The I.S. Help Desk Manager is responsible for the daily supervision of the various levels of staff within the Department.
This individual is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the I.S.
Help Desk call center to ensure telephone service levels are being met and high level customer service components are provided to key IT areas.
The I.S.Help Desk Manager ensures that various phases of help desk support are appropriately identified, prioritized, documented, coordinated, monitored, and resolved in a timely manner.
This individual works with other IT Managers and Leadership to set and enforce IT operations and security policies and procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required:
Bachelor degree or a minimum of 100 post‐secondary credits in
business, management, healthcare administration or related field.
Preferred/Optional:
Formal education in computer technology and networking.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required:
Eight years' experience in a technical support call center, related management position or customer service environment.
Demonstrated knowledge with computer operating systems, PC software packages, systems administration, and network systems.
Demonstrated competency with office productivity software applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred/Optional:
Experience in a team lead or management role.
Three years of experience within the Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) and at least one year of experience with MCHS Information Services.
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.
