    Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate psychologist to lead an elite program for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) rehabilitation within our skilled nursing facility in Richmond, VA.
    • The Lead Psychologist will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a comprehensive and individualized treatment program to support patients with TBI in their recovery journey.

    Position: Lead Psychologist for Elite Traumatic Brain Injury Program

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and oversee the implementation of a specialized TBI rehabilitation program within the skilled nursing facility, focusing on cognitive, emotional, and behavioral interventions.
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with TBI to evaluate cognitive functioning, emotional adjustment, and psychosocial needs.
    • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, nurses, and social workers, to develop integrated treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
    • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address cognitive impairments, emotional challenges, and behavioral issues associated with TBI.
    • Offer support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process, fostering a therapeutic alliance and promoting optimal outcomes.
    • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment interventions as needed, and evaluate the effectiveness of the TBI program through outcome measures and quality improvement initiatives.
    • Stay abreast of current research and best practices in TBI rehabilitation to inform program development and ensure the delivery of evidence-based care.
    Compensation:
    • Extremely competitive salary of $85,000- $90,000.

    Qualifications:
    • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.
    • Current licensure as a psychologist in the state of Virginia.
    • Specialized training or experience in neuropsychology, rehabilitation psychology, or TBI rehabilitation preferred.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience working with individuals with TBI or other neurological conditions in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
    • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, with proficiency in administering and interpreting neuropsychological tests and measures.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families.
    • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to promoting dignity, autonomy, and well-being for individuals with TBI.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to mentor and supervise staff, facilitate team collaboration, and drive program development and growth.
