    Description
    Position Overview:
    • Provides direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families using the nursing processes of comprehensive patient assessment, development, implementation of nursing care plans, and patient education, and on-going evaluation.
    • Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in assigned area.
    • Develops, implements, coordinates an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care that considers psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors.
    • Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communications.
    • Adheres to policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations to promote a quality patient experience.
    • Engages in continuous growth and development in professional nursing practice.
    Job Description:
    • EDUCATION
      Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
    • CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
      RN-Registered Nurse of California
      BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
      ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider
      PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support Healthcare Provider
    • TYPICAL EXPERIENCE
      Two years relevant experience
    • SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
      Demonstrated competence in nursing theories, concepts, practices; medical terminology; anatomy; and physiology.
      Working knowledge of healthcare industry, safety policies, best practices in patient care and privacy, and regulations.
      Written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
      Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Electronic Health Record.
      Ability to prioritize tasks, work within policies to meet deadlines, solve problems, and maintain patient privacy.
      Builds collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers.
