    The Role
    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pre-Employment Specialist to join our team.

    The Pre-Employment Specialist is responsible for supporting recruitment activities and completing tasks associated with onboarding new hires and maintaining Driver Qualification Files.


    A successful Pre-Employment Specialist will provide accurate and timely correspondence to candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers in a professional manner.

    This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company. This will be a 100% remote position.
    Responsibilities
    Support Recruiters throughout entire recruitment life cycle including but not limited to the hiring process: hiring candidates in ADP, onboarding including health and background screening), prehire paperwork, tax forms, I9, etc
    Participate in recruitment projects such as offer packages, swag boxes, IT access and equipment, and day one orientation.
    Prep candidates for post offer process and update reporting documents to ensure candidate's success as an employee.
    Acts as a resource for candidates and follows up with candidates as needed.
    Researches and resolves recruitment related questions, during recruitment life cycle.
    Updates, enters, and edits personnel data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and applicant tracking system (ATS).
    Participates in new- hire orientation as needed.
    Assists with data requests and compiles reports to complete required internal audits
    Assists in the preparation of departmental reports needed by internal and external sources.
    Assists with maintenance and resolution of compliance issues.
    Maintains confidentiality of human resources information.

    Previous work in Transportation Industry highly preferred.
    Working knowledge of DOT requirements for CMV and CDL drivers.
    Build and maintain Driver Qualification files; experience with First Advantage or JJ Keller preferred.

    Ensure employment application, MVR, Medical, Driver's License, Driving Record, Pre-Employment testing, and any Policy and Requests are set up for new hires.

    Process and maintain all drivers' records in compliance with federal and state regulations.

    Ensure drivers remain compliant with annual physicals, drug/alcohol screenings, and driver license renewals in accordance with all state, federal and local laws.

    Report non-compliant drivers or incidents to HR for corrective action/discipline.
    Operate with strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and innovative thinking skills.
    Other duties as assigned.
    Requirements and Sills
    Bachelor's degree in related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
    Two years' related experience
    Effective oral and written communication skills
    Demonstrated understanding of recruitment objectives and relevant internal and external business issues impacting operations
    Ability to promptly and accurately complete assignments
    Ability to effectively interact with candidates and associates at all levels of the organization.
    PC proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or HRIS applications
    Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS) preferred
    Working knowledge of HR laws and compliance requirements relevant to recruitment and retention
