Join St. Elias Specialty Hospital as a Per Diem PRN Physiatrist in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a great opportunity to join a new 30-bed unit that's setting the standard for rehabilitation throughout the state. Here, you will treat patients with spinal cord injuries, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, musculoskeletal issues, multiple trauma and other neurological diseases. Additionally, this position augments the full-time Medical Director and care team on a flexible, as-needed coverage basis, providing inpatient care, patient screening, admissions and daily management. Where You'll Work
Providence St. Elias Specialty Hospital is the only Critical Illness Recovery and Inpatient Rehabilitation hospital in Alaska. Located near several trauma centers, St. Elias features a 35 bed CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility, ranked by US News as the highest rated rehab program in the state. Under the guidance of rehabilitation physicians, using intensive therapeutic interventions of physical and occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology, St. Elias helps patients achieve their highest level of recovery goals.
