    Patient Service Specialist

    Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time teammate to support a growing community. We offer flexible schedules, no weekends, and opportunities for growth.

    This position provides unique opportunities for someone seeking a future in healthcare. Our diverse therapy team allows learning of many specialties within the Physical Therapy profession.

    We provide extensive training in insurance, which will give you a competitive edge if you're interested in pursuing a career in medicine.

    Responsibilities

    • Greet and register patients, providing information about their visit and next appointment.
    • Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
    • Communicate with various parties, including attorney offices, insurance companies, and translation services.
    • Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout the workday.
    • Appropriate manual dexterity for typing and lifting up to 25lbs safely.
    • Visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records and recognize people.
