- Technical AS400 iSeries includes RPG programming, hardware and software maintenance and administration.
- Analyzes existing applications and systems and formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, logical database design, performs coding and tests/debugs programs.
- Consults with business analysts and architects to understand, anticipate, and meet current and future business needs.
- Serves as administrator, where assigned to support and maintain assigned platforms.
- Responsible for change management submission and detail compliance.
- Provide documentation/architecture, training and analysis pertaining to assigned platforms.
- Ensures the proper retirement of Hunter Fan's production AS400, JDE and PKMS environments, per plan.
- Provide Internal and External support and documentation, as needed.
- Possess 15-20 years RPG programming experience.
- Should be well-versed with tools and methodologies to debug existing code.
- Familiar with JDE, PKMS and InforLN.
- Familiar with EDI processes and doc types (working knowledge of order creation, fulfillment, billing/invoicing, and inventory)
- Must be solid at creating and maintaining documentation.
- Able to adhere with Change Management and SLDC (or similar lifecycle development process)
- Participate/present in Problem Management process.
- Manage, address, and resolve Help Desk incidents and service requests tickets, within defined IT service level agreements (SLAs)
- Be adaptable – project requirements can evolve (via process)
- Have organizational skills – work with Team & independently.
- Possess strong time management skills.
- Weekday support for handling production break fixes and recover issues within a defined Service level
Weekend support for critical tickets
Coordinate and Communicate between and among Client and/or Third-party contractor teams to resolve tickets and restore services
Coordinate and/or assist with IT management and counterparts for maintenance, issues and infrastructure patching. - Analyze and review the incident inflow and plan for code fixes/permanent fixes for issues that are reoccurring by creating problems
Work with the clients to determine change implementation windows and coordinate with business/technical team to successfully plan & implement the change. - Managing the transition of new applications into the team by coordinating with the development team attend Reviews/Meetings, ensuring the new application fits the health required for support take over
Weekly/regular trend analysis to ensure that the application/platform is healthy and take actions as needed. - Provide testing / verification support during OS upgrades, patch installation on any third-party software

Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for the development, support and administration of HFC's ERP and shipping solution technical footprint. The resource must ensure the maintenance and resolution of business disruptions reported by clients in the form of ITSM incident records (caused by various applications/infrastructure issues) within a fixed service level depending on the severity of the issue. In addition to also finding ways to reduce the number of calls for (assistance by providing training, writing operating manuals, or by fixing code/configuration issues and generally ensuring that common issues are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible. This individual must have strong technical & communication skills.
