    Description

    This is a Hybrid role based out of a cutting edge office space in Stamford, CT. Excellent growth opportunity for someone looking to grow within Finance and Technology.

    Our client, is a progressive Fintech leader in the space. Their software consolidates account data from multiple sources, focuses on data integrity, reconciles discrepancies, and offers flexible reporting. Amazing company culture and growth opportunities. The Corporate Actions Associate will join the Securities Processing Operations team. The successful candidate will research and process voluntary and mandatory corporate actions while ensuring accuracy within the company's proprietary systems.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Research voluntary and mandatory corporate action terms
    • For voluntary corporate actions, notify clients, coordinate client responses and elect at custodian
    • Review and process voluntary corporate actions based on client elections
    • Research and process mandatory corporate actions
    • Review corporate action event taxability ensuring that processing is in full compliance
    • Reconcile cash, shares, and activity between banking operations system and custodian
    • Responsible for research and resolution of any client's corporate actions inquiries
    • Follow daily schedule to ensure all tasks are completed as required per established timelines
    • Follow Operating procedures in accordance with audit requirements
    • Ensure adherence to escalation policies, maintain awareness of risk mitigating policies and procedures
    • Work on projects as required
    • Skills & Knowledge:
    • BA/BS required. Degree in finance, accounting, economics or statistics strongly preferred.
    • At least 5 years of corporate actions processing experience
    • Strong mastery of Microsoft Office
    • Ability to excel independently or as part of a team
    • Can communicate effectively and transfer thoughts into expressed ideas
