Driver Helper

Schillings is seeking a full-time Driver Helper at our Saint John, IN location. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

• Daily vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting to Logistics Manager.
• Maintaining equipment cleanliness and organization.
• Loading trucks according to sales orders, securing loads, and assisting drivers with unloading materials to customer satisfaction.
• Effective communication with the Logistics Manager for task completion assurance.

Requirements:

• Holding a valid driver's license
• Lifting up to 50lbs regularly, occasionally up to 80lbs
<-li>Frequent standing/sitting/bending/reaching/gripping/pushing/pulling/lifting/climbing/carrying/walking in the Yard/Warehouses Oriented towards operating all company equipment including sweepers/skid steer/order pickers/forklifts/trucks/vans/SUVs safely
Coping in ALL weather conditions effectivelyAble to communicate information clearly via radios or person-to-person interactions.
Recognize safety alarms/hazardous situations
