    Job Purpose:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician/Mechanic to join our team.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Sustain and grow market share in assigned sales territory through effective planning, adequate coverage, and presentations
    • Develop new business opportunities, focusing on Spanish-speaking customers, to promote and sell heavy equipment across all product lines
    • Act as liaison between Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. and Spanish-speaking customers in sales, service, and parts, ensuring seamless communication and satisfaction
    • Follow up to ensure accurate and timely completion of sales, rentals, and service transactions
    • Provide equipment quotations, outlining key features, benefits, and financing options when applicable
    • Assist customers with field parts orders and coordinate with the service department for competitive quotes on maintenance and repair work
    • Maintain an excellent understanding of heavy equipment, financing programs, parts, and services through training and self-study
    • Study and maintain knowledge of competitors' machines, financing options, and marketing programs
    • Serve as key point of contact for Spanish-speaking customers, facilitating clear communication across departments
    • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs efficiently, providing translation support as needed
    • Identify, profile, and develop the customer base within the assigned territory, expanding business opportunities and ensuring continued growth
    • Use company CRM tools to document customer interactions, track sales activities, and provide accurate reporting for management
    • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and post-sales process, ensuring long-term business relationships

    Requirements:

    • High School Education or Equivalent with post-secondary education preferred
    • Three (3) years of construction equipment sales experience
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability to changing priorities and customer needs
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applications

    Territory Manager-Industrial Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
    • Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
    • Capacity to work in extreme heat or cold and tolerate exposure to typical noises, hazardous materials, and fumes/odors
    • Ability to perform work for extended hours
    • Adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintenance of individual PPE
