    Position Overview
    The

    Senior Associate, Tax


    will be part of a five-person tax team and will oversee all aspects of tax compliance and tax planning for entities within the firm's private equity platform.

    This is a hands-on and dynamic role that will have exposure to various fund structures across the global firm.
    Responsibilities
    The

    Senior Associate, Tax

    will be responsible for the following:

    Gather information from internal and external sources to assist in the tax return preparation process and work with our advisors to prepare annual taxable income and allocation work papers.

    Assist in the review of investor reporting packages including U.S. and state withholding documentation as well as necessary disclosures needed to satisfy U.S. informational reporting requirements.
    Assist in quarterly estimated taxable income calculations for our investors.

    Research and resolve various tax issues associated with entity tax compliance and tax planning, including investment funds, GP entities, management companies, and transaction entities.

    Gather information necessary to respond to various tax notices and investor requests.
    Qualifications
    The successful candidate will have an exceptional track record and reputation. Given the significant responsibilities of this position, the top candidate will be a mature, experienced individual.

    In addition, the successful candidate should have:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA a plus.
    2 – 5 years of relevant tax/accounting experience.
    Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to change in a growth environment.
    Experience and proficiency with Excel.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with people on all levels within the organization.
