    Position Summary:

    Reporting to the Manager of Special Giving at the Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation (AAMCF), the Donor Relations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Giving team in advancing philanthropy, helping to maintain positive donor relationships with Luminis Health, assistant with moves management, and sponsorship facilitation. S/he is responsible for supporting meetings with potential major donors, corporate partners, community groups and foundation supporters. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center's mission for everyone in our community to live healthier together.

    Responsibilities:
    1. Support Giving Officers in their donor meetings, prepping materials, follow up
    2. Create initial drafts of funding proposals to potential donors
    3. Assist with execution of Grateful Patient program and all donor solicitations including direct mail and email campaigns
    4. Manage Honor/Memorial fundraising program in conjunction with Manager of Special Giving
    5. Import donor meeting notes into database for Foundation Vice President and Giving Team as needed
    6. Maintain donor data record integrity by tracking all donor relations activities and documents
    7. Conduct donor and prospect research
    8. Assist with the management of donor recognition societies
    9. Work closely with other LHAAMCF staff, as needed, to execute cultivation and stewardship events
    10. Generate reports, spreadsheets, and personalized donor communications
    11. Act as back-up contact for event registrations/RSVPs
    12. Working closely with Manager of Special Giving, support Building Traditions Society
    13. Provide assistance where needed and perform other duties as assigned, including occasional work at events or programs on weekends or evenings
    14. Coordinate and schedule in-kind donations with community partners
    15. Partner with Development team members to help manage team workflow
    16. Provide administrative support to Development team as needed
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree; with development experience preferred.
    • High attention to detail and organization.
    • Flexibility and proven ability to work successfully in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
    • Self-motivated strategic thinker with a proven record working independently and achieving results.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Word, Excel and databases; experience with Raiser's Edge or Salesforce preferred.
    • Familiarity with philanthropic industry and sources of philanthropy.
    • Passion for AAMCF's mission of enhancing our community's health.
    • Familiarity with the market served by AAMCF.
