Job Title: Service Desk Representative
Location: Rochester Hills, MI (remote)
Contract Duration: Contract until 12/02/2024
Work Hours: (Monday-Friday) 10am-6:30pm or 10:30am-7pm Monday-Friday.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical support for various technologies to customers
Safeguard organization's security by following established procedures
Offer troubleshooting and resolution for technical issues
Provide guidance to Service Desk Associates and new Representatives
Assist in testing new technologies and support structures
Identify and handle emerging issues
Contribute to knowledgebase growth
Stay updated on processes and procedures
Take ownership of new information
Escalate system issues as needed
Read and comprehend work-related communications
Communicate effectively via different channels
Demonstrate excellence in troubleshooting, communication, and quality
Adhere to attendance guidelines
Perform job duties efficiently

Skills:

Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
High technical aptitude and PC literacy
Experience working independently and in a team setting
Urgency in security/privacy practices
Willingness to learn and adapt
Diversity acceptance and respect
Understanding of network topologies and security protocols
Fluent English language skills

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Some college or relevant vocational training
Certification in IT Service Management

Experience:

2+ years in Service Desk or IT Support roles
Customer service experience
Experience in 24/7 health care environment support

Experience supporting:

ServiceNow, Apple/Mac products, Windows OS, and more
