Supply Chain Manager
will be responsible for overseeing the production planning operations and managing the supply of raw materials, drug substances, intermediates, and finished products.
Key duties include utilising SAP for data mining to monitor lot status and managing inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for ongoing production requirements.
The role requires proficiency in SAP Manufacturing Resource Planning and Master Production Scheduling (MRP/MPS), managing the expiry of materials, and overseeing the entire Supply Chain Quality Systems.
ResponsibilitiesLead production planning operations and manage the planning team.
Collaborate with the manufacturing team to devise production schedules.
Oversee and review SAP MRP/MPS for essential materials based on production demands.
Ensure precision in Lot Tracking Reports and conduct end-of-month Supply Chain inventory reconciliations.
Implement and manage manufacturing systems concerning MRP and production planning.
Administer quality systems including CAPAs, Deviations, and Change Controls to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
Manage the disposal and identification of obsolete, damaged, and rejected inventory following cGMP standards.
Sustain relationships with contract manufacturers and logistics providers.
Participate in and lead Supply Chain initiatives in project teams for both new and existing products.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Materials Management, or a related discipline.
Experience:
7-10 years in environments utilising highly automated inventory systems, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR practices, high proficiency in office software, and expert ability in SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
At least ten years in a similar role with extensive experience in inventory management and distribution systems.
Independent working capability with strong decision-making skills.
Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential.
Adhere to all company Quality Systems and cGMP standards.
Ensure compliance with QA, HR, and EH&S policies and procedures.
Direct the production planning team, aligning with broader manufacturing goals.
Manage inventory levels, oversee annual budgets, and prepare various operational and financial reports.
Effectively coordinate with other departments to ensure that inventory management aligns with internal manufacturing needs and order fulfilment.
