    Maintenance of all fab equipment, tooling and supplies.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Experience with maintaining and calibrating automated machinery.
    • Performs periodic daily quality checks to ensure machinery is properly calibrated and performing to standard.
    • Work with operators to perform proper machine adjustments throughout the day to minimize quality issues.
    • Experience troubleshooting automated weld machinery to the root cause with a working knowledge of PLC controllers and changing programming.
    • Comfortable being a "hands on" type person and spending most of the day working on the shop floor
    • Utilize a computerized Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule and work with production supervision to coordinate when all maintenance activities will be performed.
    • Develop and maintain accurate PM and history files for each piece of equipment
    • Ability to fabricate and weld is a helpful.
    • Train production employees in the proper and safe use of equipment
    • Work with management on how to improve production processes and equipment uptime. Proven experience with developing and implementing improvement plans.
    • Set up and manage a spare parts inventory for the equipment you are responsible to maintain. This would include being responsible for cost effectively purchasing these parts and carrying the proper levels.
    • Track equipment downtime and implement equipment workarounds to enable production to meet delivery requirements.
    • Obtain and keep current all operator manuals for each machine
    • Inventory and maintain consumable supplies used by Fabrication and keep necessary items on hand at all time.
    • Involvement in purchasing and inventorying of safety equipment for fabrication staff.
    • Good working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3-5 years minimum as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment

    • PLC Troubleshooting Skills
    • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
    • Hydraulics Experience
    • Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment
    • PLC Programming Experience

    • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)

    Salary info:

    $24 - $26 / hr
