    Description

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    • The Dietary Aide supports the Cook in meal preparation and serving.
    • Ensures food is plated according to tray tickets and company standards.
    • Prepares and delivers meals, washes dishes, and maintains kitchen cleanliness.

    JOB FUNCTION: Food Preparation/Delivery

    • Reviews tray card to confirm food information matches served items.
    • Follows cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures.
    • Cleans food prep area, utensils, and kitchen to health standards.
    • Assists in clearing and cleaning dining tables if necessary.

    Customer Service:

    • Interacts professionally with residents, clients, and staff.
    • Attends in-service education, staff meetings, and practices safety measures.
    • Maintains positive communication with all facility personnel and residents.

    EDUCATION/TRAINING/WORK EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required, with dining services training preferred.
    • Ability to read, speak and understand English, follow directions, and meet time schedules.
    • Maintains a well-groomed appearance and is dependable.
    • Experience in quantity food production facilities is a plus.
    • Must pass a criminal background check.
