    Job title: Mid-Career Archeologist

    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Archaeologist to join our team in leading office-based field efforts for major utilities. As part of our Environmental Services Cultural Resources Team, you will have opportunities to support all phases of cultural resource management (CRM), including survey, testing, data recovery, construction monitoring and more.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a key team member on major utilities compliance contracts by supporting pedestrian surveys, test excavations, data recovery and construction monitoring. You will also be responsible for reporting tracking execution review of projects and assisting project planning scheduling logistics field efforts.

    Key attributes include detail-oriented problem-solving skills; positive attitude strong organizational abilities willingness learn flexibility assignments ability follow directions communicate effectively within a large team. Required qualifications include working knowledge CEQA Section 106 intermediate level familiarity OHP guidelines standard reporting formats California Department of Parks Recreation DPR site forms technical writing skills proficiency Word Excel knowledge California Great Basin archaeology Masters degree Anthropology or Archaeology related field required registered Professional Archaeologist RPA preferred not required.
