- Evaluate and treat patients using appropriate medical skills and tools. Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
- Recommend and engage in efforts to enhance cost-effectiveness and quality of patient care.
- Accept patient referrals, act as admitting, attending, or consulting physician based on patient needs.
- Participate in academic programs and research initiatives upon request.
- Ensure proper documentation for insurance purposes and handle all denials promptly.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, potentially including on-call duties.
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board required before hire.
- Advanced Life Support certification preferred, with acceptance of American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Completion of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) is mandatory.
