- 5+ years of experience using NX for modeling and drafting
- Familiarity with machine shop fixtures and work holding techniques
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 2-year drafting/mechanical design or 4-year mechanical engineering degree
- Experience with Power Generation or Aerospace industries
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems
- Understanding of metal fabrication and welding processes
- Experience with PLM systems
- Develop and update NX CAD models and drawings for fixtures, gages, assembly tooling, production aides, etc.
- Apply your knowledge of GD&T best practices to ensure designs are accurate and manufacturable
- Collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization, providing clear communication and working both independently and as part of a team
- Contribute to design reviews and problem-solving discussions, offering innovative solutions and driving positive change
- Stay up-to-date with the latest NX software versions (NX12 or higher) to ensure efficient and optimal design practices
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all your work
- Possess excellent communication skills and actively engage with team members to share information and updates

MAU is hiring a Tooling and Fixture Designer at our client in Greenville, SC. As a Tooling and Fixture Designer, you will leverage your extensive experience in NX design to support carious projects within the company. You will work closely with mechanical engineers, toolmakers, programmers, and other stakeholders to design and improve fixtures, gages, and other 3D models across the Power Generation and Aerospace industries. This is a 1st shift, long-term contract opportunity.
