    Joining HID's Public Relations Team:


    The Corporate Communications / Public Relations team works closely with marketing leadership across HID's six Business Areas, as well as a variety of internal subject matter experts to execute successful public relations programs globally.

    Reporting into the Sr.

    Director, Corporate Communications and Public Relations at HID, the Senior Manager, Public Relations will be responsible for overseeing HID's global PR program, strategy, and budget, as well as directly managing PR efforts for HID in the North America region (NAM).

    This role will directly manage two internal regional PR Managers.

    As our Senior Manager, Public Relations, you'll support HID's success by:

    Overseeing HID's entire Public Relations program, including the creation of global PR and thought leadership strategy, global PR messages and campaigns for use regionally and locally, media targets and distribution outletsServing as primary point of contact and 'client manager' for HID's PR program with a variety of global stakeholders across HID's six Business AreasDirectly managing internal regional PR Managers, providing guidance and support to execute PR strategies at the regional levelDeveloping comprehensive public relations plansOverseeing and managing HID's PR budgetBuilding constructive relationships with target editors and journalists, serving as primary media contact for HID globallyDeveloping global PR content that is relevant, timely, and impactful in growing HID's brand awareness, thought leadership, and share of voiceManaging the NAM PR programOverseeing global PR reporting on a monthly/quarterly basisWhat we will love about your background:Requires strong communication skills, quick thinking, and the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines along with solid verbal communication skills.

    Proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Willingness to research, learn, and implement new PR tactics, strategies, processes, and systems.


    Your Experience and Education include:


    7 years public relations experience required and must be an experienced manager of PR programsExperience working with and managing relationships with external agencies and 3rd party vendors, with responsibility for budgets and achieving regional PR objectivesBachelor's degree, preferably in communications, journalism, or marketing disciplineExperience in business-to-business (B2B) preferredExperience in technology PR a plusExperience managing PR within a campaign framework highly desiredFamiliar with social media platforms and management toolsWho you are as a Leader:Willingness to 'roll up sleeves' and dive deep into tactical work when necessary.

    Good interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and continue to grow professionally. Strong team player and ability to work well with others.
