    Description
    The OSHA Instructor will perform OSHA training through classroom and hands on activities to ensure student comprehension of the materials presented. They will organize and conduct health and safety OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 training courses at various locations. The instructor will be able to convey OSHA standards and know their œtraining audience to ensure the course meets the company needs.
    Required Qualification
  • Have five years of general industry safety experience
  • A college degree in occupational safety and health, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation may be substituted for two years of experience. Obtain guidance on whether you meet this requirement from the OSHA Training Institute (OTI} Education Center where you want to take the training
  • Complete OSHA course #511, Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry. This course covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles
  • Excellent facilitation, written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience providing training to employees and adult learners, using popular education/interactive approaches
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Must demonstrate leadership quality and be able to work with minimal supervision
    Preferred Qualification

    Physical Demands
    Requires some travel to IWCC Center or business locations in the area. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
    Salary : $33.00/hour
