Landmark Hospital of Cape Girardeau has an exciting opportunity for a part time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated and professional team Landmark Hospital is committed to providing the highest level of customer service and quality of care to those we serve.

Shift: Part Time Days

Summary: A Physical Therapist (PT)is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, treatment and evaluation of physical therapy for patients.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of specific conditions, diseases, and treatment therapies for specific patient populations
Assesses patients' physical, psychological, social, and educational needs to determine level and type of care
Develops and maintains current patient treatment plan to include patient problems, goals, and interventions
Delivers care based on acuity level, identified needs, and physician orders
Coordinates physical therapy care activities with other departments/disciplines
Assesses, collaborates, and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge
Assesses patient/family learning needs, abilities and readiness to learn and integrates needs into plan of care
Provides appropriate education/orientation to patients/families

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or post Graduate degree (PT)
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) License in the state of Missouri
- BLS Certification preferred (Classes offered)
Minimum 1 year hospital experience, critical care/acute care preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Superior analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Team, detail and goal oriented
Positive, professional and empathetic demeanor
