- Education - Fulfilled the requirements to be a licensed NP or PA in NYS
- Experience - 3 to 5 years of clinical experience. Prefer specialization in ambulatory Women's Health/OBGYN setting.
- License/Certification Required - Licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of New York.

Job Description:
*Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time APP (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join its Highland Hospital Women's Health Office, located in our Physician's Office Building connected to Highland Hospital. Candidates for this role will work Monday - Friday, 8a - 4:30p, no weekends or holidays required.

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) assesses, promotes and contributes to the quality care provided to patients and their families/support systems throughout the hospital continuum.
Specialization includes in-depth graduate study of relevant theories and scientific knowledge related to a select patient population which promotes the ability to analyze and refine practice.
In collaboration with the health care team, the APP monitors the clinical care of patients and provides clinical expertise to improve patient care and patient outcomes.
Provides direction for patient care to complex patient populations.Identifies, analyzes and resolves patient care issues in an effort to meet the care needs of the patient in an ethical and culturally sensitive way.
Drives new services as requested.
Models excellence in practice through the use of advanced concepts in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of perceived, actual or potential problems that occur in patient care.
Functions as facilitator and innovator for state-of-the art care with direct involvement in implementing and evaluating new techniques and equipment for safety, cost-effectiveness, and benefits related to clinical practice.
Salary Range:
$93, $119,642.00 annually

Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
