    Job Description:

    Under the direct supervision of the site Physician, provides health care services to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

    Produces images of heart muscle and functioning by setting-up ultrasound equipment; attaching electrodes to chest and equipment; operating and adjusting equipment; recording cardiac and vascular data and measurements; protecting and helping patients.


    Education:
    Completion of Cardiac Sonography Program RequiredCertifications/Licensures:BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association RequiredRDCS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography -or-RCS Adult Registered Cardiac Sonographer - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Required -and-RVT Registered Vascular Technologist - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography RequiredSkills:Must be able to type 60 WPM with minimum errorsProficient in adult Transthoracic, Echo, doppler analysis, Stress echocardiography, EKG and Holter monitor hook-up, treadmills, arrhythmia recognition, vascular studiesFamiliarity with medical terminologyFamiliar with Cardiology PAC's and interpretation softwareGood organizational, grammatical, and communication skillsAbility to work with a variety of ultrasound equipment

    Pay Range:
    $ $87.08HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure
