    Key Accountabilities

    • Lead the operations team to engage with the Sales and Operations Planning process to plan, purchase for, and execute the manufacture and delivery of safe, legal, and compliant products that meet or exceed customer requirements.
    • Drive continuous improvement in operations and business KPIs and department metrics.
    • Effectively engage, communicate, and collaborate with the wider NA management team.
    • Manage, motivate, and coach assigned personnel and teams.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Regularly engage with NA management team and other stake holders to review customer requirements and provide updates on Sinclair's ability and capacity to meet such needs.
    • Lead collaboration within operations and the wider business to meet customer requirements, fulfil orders, and improve business processes and relevant KPIs.
    • In collaboration with Sr Director of Operations develop, monitor, and drive the top level Operations Functional Business Plan (FPB), KPIs, budgets/spending, and risk management.
    • Oversee department managers in executing lower level FBPs plans aligned to top level Operations FBP and Sinclair goals.
    • Lead the ongoing evolution of an operations culture that balances customer focus, continuous improvement, employee growth, and business results within the overarching Sinclair culture.
    • Drive and coach the use of lean principles to continuously improve cost, quality, performance, delivery, and safety within areas of responsibility.
    • Lead the operations management team to adopt and implement ISO and BRC standards as best practice in operations processes, ensuring compliance to the standards and Sinclair's Quality Management System.
    • In collaboration with QMS Manager, regularly monitor QMS compliance and business engagement regarding QMS programs and requirements. Support the QMS manager to address gaps in compliance or engagement in a timely manner.
    • Business process owner for cross functional order fulfilment activities.
    • In collaboration with Sr Director of Operations, oversee development and execution of manufacturing asset management plan (non-machine CAPEX) in alignment with Sinclair's goals and operations strategies.
    • Ensure the operations team develops and maintains the skills and structure required to fulfil individual and department level responsibilities.
    • Abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to health and safety.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
