    This is an amazing teaching opportunity. The Atlanta Educational Complex (home of GAAA and BCJA) is located on a beautiful campus in Atlanta, GA. The schools share a fully equipped gymnasium with newly installed LED lighting and gym floor.

    The Departments of Athletics and Physical Education at the Atlanta Educational Complex (Berean Christian Junior Academy, grades K-8 & Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy, grades 9-12) has a deep commitment to providing transformative experiences for students that include learning through teamwork, competition, games, movement, and play.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven record of successful, transformative leadership, team development, effective communication, and purpose-driven investment in the life-changing benefits of sports and physical wellness.

    The Director of Athletics and Physical Education cascades vision for the development of lifelong physical wellness and good health beginning with physical education classes and sports in the lower school through health education and varsity sports participation in the upper school.

    Manages relationships and processes between the school and stakeholders to maintain high standards of integrity and transparency. Responsibly manages the complex resources of the departments including athletics-related expenditures in conjunction with the Finance Department. This a great place to work with supportive colleagues, administration, and board.
    Required Experience

    Must joy and love of working with children and youth. Candidates must be committed Seventh-day Adventists Christian. The ideal candidate has a minimum of a B.S. in P.E. or elementary education and a current NAD Elementary certification preferred. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policy.

    Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to provide evidence of that candidate has the right to work in the USA.
