    Job Title: IT Subject Matter Expert (Sr.) - Top Secret Required

    Position Overview:

    CGI Federal is seeking a Sr. IT Subject Matter Expert with an active Top Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provides technical expertise for program requirements relating to information technology, application analysis, software development, and systems integration.
    • Designs, plans, installs, and supports network communications systems.
    • Develops specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
    • Provides detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for efficient solutions meeting business needs.
    • Conducts testing of network design.
    • Maintains technical expertise in network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing.
    • Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance network capabilities.
    • Ensures quality work maintains highest standards.
    • Communicates and coordinates with back office to capture customer requirements.

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years of progressive experience in related projects.
    • Understanding of Agile development processes and tool chains.
    • Ability to translate customer needs into buildable features.
    • Training experience with understanding of planning and executing training events.
    • Experience in conducting system engineering and analytical activities using structured techniques.
    • Experience applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to solve problems.
    • Experience establishing and maintaining working relationships with all levels of the organization.
    • Project skills including cost, schedule, risk, and opportunity analysis.
    • Experience with IT infrastructure design, Active Directory, DNS, firewalls, TCP/IP, networking, VMware, storage, Windows, and Linux.
    • Experience developing a technical baseline and participating in a development team.
    • Excellent communication skills.
