- Repair & install current & older precision ag equipment, including GPS receivers, navigation units, precision ag sensors & transmitters, guidance systems, & monitors
- Bill & collect payment for any work done & equipment sold
- Educate & assist customers on how to use Precision Ag equipment
- Stay current on all certifications & other educational opportunities
- Participate as assigned with training, technical documentation, & other departments to ensure optimal knowledge transfer
- Coordinate with field teams to research & resolve field issues
- Associate's degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, or Ag Mechanization or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid driver's license & ability to travel more than 50% of work day
- Working knowledge of Precision Ag systems & concepts
- Previous experience as a Precision Ag Specialist preferred
- Possess sufficient knowledge of crop production science to advise producers on Precision Ag plans, products, & services
- Proficient knowledge of electrical & wireless communication systems
- Certified Crop Advisor certification preferred
