- Complies with all safety rules and procedures
- Participates in startup and operation of Press Production Lines
- Participates in product and or process troubleshooting of routine issues
- Assists with changeovers on all Press Lines
- Uses reaction plans to aid in troubleshooting and inspection of production
- Performs quality testing on finished product; including 100% visual inspection on product that is set out for testing to identify any defects, and uses master sample to ensure correct product is being run
- Visually inspects panels and marks each defect found to ensure that it gets rejected at the finish line
- Communicates quality issues to the press operator and shift lead, and recommends needed adjustments
- Follows controls and procedures so that the end-product is produced to established quality standards
- Conducts daily housekeeping and TPM responsibilities as required
- Records material consumption and production in appropriate computer applications
- Performs all other related duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced work environment
- 1 year of experience with automated machines
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude/Machine operation knowledge
- Problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- This position requires the team member to work with machinery in an environment where there may be regular exposure to noise from machinery, dust, fumes and variable temperatures.
- Other working conditions may include working 12 hours shift and a fixed shift rotation, including holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.; bending, squatting, climbing ladders and stairs are required
