- Perform tooling prep operations in preparation for lamination.
- Prepare and organize composite materials in preparation for lamination.
- Apply composite materials onto molds or tooling surfaces using techniques like hand layup or automated processes.
- Ensure proper ply orientation, ply thickness, and material consolidation is achieved.
- Proficiency in vacuum bagging techniques for composite layup operations.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Basic use of computers for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
- Able to verbally communicate, read and comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Reliable, punctual and have dependable transportation.
- Ability to follow safe work practices.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Manual dexterity and able to use hand tools.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Effectively work as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to quality standards and procedures.
- 2+ years of experience in relevant industry or process.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and inspection equipment.

- Able to become certified to wear a respirator.

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Composite Hand Lamination Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing composite layup operations to manufacture high-quality composite parts.
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in pre-preg ply placement on open face tooling, ply orientation and material consolidation techniques.
Additionally, proficiency in performing vacuum bagging, debulking and knowledge of curing operations are necessary for this role.Responsibilities
The target base pay for this position is $18-$20/hour. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
