A mid-level analyst is expected to be more than a data entry clerk but doesn't yet have the strategic oversight of a Senior.Their focus is on execution and accuracy.
- Taking messy data from multiple sources and cleaning it so "Medline," "Medline Inc,"and "Medline Industries" all show up as one vendor.
- Building and updating the dashboards that the Director of Supply Chain uses to see if the department is hitting its $1M or $5M savings goals.
- Calculating the "Return on Investment" for switching a clinical product (e.g., "If we switch to this new IV start kit, we save $0.40 per unit, which equals $80k annually").
