    SUMMARY
    Associate Designer will work closely with the Designers, Sr. Designer and Design director to create seasonal concepts and development of product lines. They will also be responsible for administration and follow up of the product design process.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Design and development new and c/o seasonal styles that are consistent with the Nike brand direction that also supports the business unit strategy.

    Responsible for creating and maintaining illustrator images (wireframe and colored images) for CADS and tech sheets
    Responsible for creating 3D images with Browzwear Lotta for seasonal collections
    Create product/art tech sheets for the technical designers and product developers
    Attend fit sessions with lead designer(s) and make necessary adjustments to CADS and tech sheets
    Assist developers and textile designer with approving lab dips and print strike-offs
    Help with coloring up prints and create print job request forms for the textile designer

    Know the marketplace and the Nike Swim consumers Market research (online and in stores) to identify seasonal trends within silhouettes, print and color.

    Focus groups with marketing and merchandisers to learn more about the consumers needs.
    Closely works with the merchandisers, tech designers, developers and marketing teams to create the right product for the consumers.
    Responsible for SMU requests, excess fabric orders, grab bag designs.
    Assist with the GTM sales meeting (Presentations, product break outs, salesman tools, set up/break down)


    SKILLS:
    Super proficient in Adobe Illustrator/Indesign/Photoshop
    Proficient in Browzwear Lotta
    Basic knowledge of pattern making, materials, trims, garment fit, garment construction, and manufacturing
    Basic knowledge of apparel design, prints and color.

    Ability to create flat sketches (front/back/side) and detailed sketches (in illustrator) to clearly communicate how the garment should be created/constructed/ or worn.

    Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    Accustomed to working in a rapidly changing, high growth environment and to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes


    REQUIREMENTS:
    College degree in Apparel Design.
    1-3 years in apparel design
