Responsibilities:
Assess team member capabilitiesTeach and Develop EstimatorsAccountable for team performanceBuild relationships with subcontractors, designers, and ownersUtilize relationships with internal and external partners to augment learningEffectively delegate roles and responsibilities within the teamSet up kickoff meetingEstablish milestones for timely delivery of estimateDrive solutions for budget issuesResponsibly prioritize multiple projects to make greatest impactPresent profitability plan to estimate reviewUnderstand estimate changes and provide clear explanationInitiate quality and safety reviews of drawingsParticipate in buyout and post bid feedbackDevelop scope of sheets, bid packages, and bid manualEffectively use all estimating softwareParticipate in estimate presentations to teamUtilize subcontractors expertise to develop alternate ideas and solutionsBe able to understand when help is needed and who to engageMake recommendations to solve budge issuesProvide recommendations for upgrades to estimating software and processes in generalLead weekly coordination meetingEffectively communicate with both internal and external team members to ensure follow-upQualifications:5+ years of construction estimating experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
