Position Summary:
The primary responsibility shall include direct support and interventions to students, consultation with teachers and administrators, and leadership at assigned grade level schools to support special education processes and school wide practices and policies. School psychologists provide program leadership for student safety and appropriate collaboration and attention to each student's readiness to learn including needed guidance, discipline, and welfare. School Psychologists may work in a variety of elementary and/or secondary educational, individual or team settings. School psychologists are responsible for consultation and case management of the assigned school(s) portfolio of students on Individualized Education Program (IEPs).
License Requirement:
Must hold or be eligible to hold a Preliminary, Professional, or Reciprocal School Psychologist license through the Oregon Teachers Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC).

North Clackamas School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. The district contributes the employer portion; there is also a mandatory employee portion. Upon eligibility, which is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position, the employee is required to contribute 6% as their employee portion, via payroll deduction. Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.
