    Quality Inspector 2 – Non-exempt

    About the Role:

    Hanwha Aerospace USA is a leader in developing and supplying flight-critical aerospace/defense components and assemblies. With state-of-the-art facilities in Connecticut, we offer opportunities for growth and career development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on aircraft engine components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer requirements, and company specifications.
    • Inspect major rotating components such as disks, shafts, air seals, drums, and hubs.
    • Work with shop personnel to assist operators in setting up gauges and performing in-process inspections.

    Requirements:

    • Able to read and understand work instructions, blueprints, and company specifications.
    • Possess expertise in blueprint reading and machinery limitations.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years' experience as an aerospace part inspector or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Additional Information:

    The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Hanwha Aerospace USA is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
