    Job Description: The University of Vermont, Robert Larner, MD, College of Medicine and the University of Vermont Health Network Central Vermont Medical Center (UVMHN-CVMC) invite applications for a full-time faculty member at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level on the clinical scholar pathway. This position is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team on the Inpatient Psychiatry Service at UVMHN-CVMC.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatry inpatient care primarily at the Central Vermont Medical Center.
  • Work with an existing inpatient team of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, activities therapists, nurse practitioners, and physician s assistants.
  • Provide direct patient care and team leadership on the inpatient unit.
  • Coverage of the emergency department and consultation on the medical-surgical service.
  • Participate in the training and education of medical students, residents, and fellows.Qualifications:
  • Medical degree, eligible for a Vermont medical license.
  • Board certified/eligible in psychiatry.
  • Fellowship training and experience in inpatient settings is highly desirable.
  • An interest in clinical research, teaching, and/or public health is a plus.The University Offers:
