    We are seeking a talented and analytical Pricing Strategist to join our team. The Pricing Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to optimize revenue, profitability, and market share. This individual will conduct in-depth analysis of market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify pricing opportunities and drive pricing decisions across our product portfolio.

    Expectations for Success
    • Conduct comprehensive analysis of market trends, customer segments, and competitor pricing strategies to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth while maintaining competitive positioning.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product management, and finance to ensure alignment on pricing decisions and strategies.
    • Conduct pricing research and analysis to understand price elasticity, willingness-to-pay, and other key pricing metrics.
    • Monitor and evaluate pricing performance against established targets and KPIs, and make data-driven recommendations for adjustments as needed.
    • Develop pricing models and tools to support pricing decision-making and enable efficient pricing execution.
    • Lead pricing negotiations with customers, partners, and vendors to maximize value and profitability.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics that may impact pricing strategies.
    • Communicate pricing strategies, rationale, and implications to senior management and key stakeholders.
    Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or related analytical roles.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
    • Experience with pricing analytics, including pricing optimization, segmentation analysis, and price elasticity modeling.
    • Knowledge of pricing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and recommendations to diverse audiences.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative pricing solutions.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience in technology/software industry and familiarity with internet, cellular and broadband technology and infrastructure preferred
    • Proficiency in Excel/sheets, SQL, and other analytical tools/software.

    As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Ookla provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The base pay for this position ranges from $135,000 /year up to $150,000/year.
