    Job Description

    1. Recommends and implements cost and quality improvements.
    2. Identifies process problems and deviations through continual evaluation of yield, quality, energy, and production data.
    3. Utilizes technical knowledge, experience, and common sense in the modification of existing processes and design of new processes.
    4. Develops and prepares engineering and operational estimates for capital improvements.
    5. Prepares project scopes, schedules and coordinates work between in-house resources and various contractors.
    6. Prepares equipment specifications.
    7. Prepares cost analyses and technical reports.

      The Successful Applicant

    8. Incumbent must possess an undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline with at least three (3) years related experience in an industrial environment
    9. Must have a well-developed understanding of a Lean Manufacturing Environment including 5S, PDCA, Standard Work, Kaizen, TPM, and other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
    10. Must be able to develop an understanding of business financials and must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
    11. Must have integrity and effective communication skills as well as strong organizational and computer skills are required. Incumbent must have good technical skills and the ability to develop the plant processes.
    12. Incumbent must have a well-developed business understanding, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong inter-personal skills, and the ability to both communicate effectively with and to motivate others and to promote a positive work atmosphere.
    13. Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees within the company.
    14. Incumbent must be a self-starter who seeks responsibility and is able to work with minimal direction.
    15. Incumbent must have demonstrated a willingness to challenge conventional ideas, to be a flexible, innovative & creative individual and one who can function effectively in a team format. What's on Offer

      Salary: $95K - $110K
