    Job Summary

    Responsible for the overall planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of system solutions that support Hardware and Home Improvement (HHI) business initiatives as it relates to Finance, Accounting, and FP&A functions. A strategic thinker with the ability to lead and manage a team and deliver IT solutions working closely with Business teams. Develops and utilizes the strategic working relationships between Information Systems and other corporate & divisional functions to achieve the benefits that business systems solutions will provide the organization.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • (30%) Establishes strong working relationships with the Finance team driving system changes/ enhancements required in Finance, Accounting, and FP&A applications using a collaborative approach. Identifies opportunities for process improvement, automation, application operational efficiency and security. Manage the day-to-day operations of the financial systems and provide support to the users of the financial systems
    • (20%) Provides subject matter expertise in the following areas:
    • Finance / Accounting - Supports financial record-keeping and reporting requirements and ensures that systems are modified to meet these requirements. Establishes best practices for financial & accounting systems use and ensures that these practices are used throughout the organization.
    • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Provide expertise on improving budgeting, financial projections and operating forecast.
    • (20%) Develops and maintains an effective team through proper selection, training, assignment and development of personnel.
    • (20%) Enforces project management and software development methodology and applies effective people management skills, guiding project team to meet committed deliverables and deals with issue of scope and budget. Confers with lead functional and technical personnel and coordinates changes of significant consequences to the project's scope or schedule.
    • (10%) Acts as liaison among the project team, Information Systems, third-party consultants and systems providers as needed.

    Education and Experience Profile

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance or related field.
    • 5+ years experience in managing Finance/Accounting IT processes within major ERPs such as SAP, QAD etc.
    • 5+ years experience in managing FP&A applications (Hyperion Essbase desirable)
    • Strong understanding of financial systems and processes
    • Experienced in leading implementation & enhancement projects for Finance/Accounting and FP&A
    • Demonstrated experience managing staff and developing resources.
    • Proven record of accomplishment demonstrating personal drive, initiative, and can-do attitude in addressing work challenges.
    • Professional certifications (PMP etc.) desirable.

    Required Skills

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills (ability to lead cross-functional project team and interact with all levels of the organization).
    • Proven ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities and willing to shift direction quickly when priorities change.
    • Identify, own, and track issues through resolution.
    • Highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and customer focused.
    • Deep knowledge of structured business system applications such as ERP, FP&A, HCM etc.
    • Must be comfortable and effective in eliminating barriers and working across organizational & functional boundaries to achieve objectives.

    • Has strategic mindset; Plans and aligns; Drives results.
    • Comfortable with occasional traveling.

    Work Environment:

    Hybrid working environment On premise at Lake Forest, CA for at least 3 days a week (Tue, Wed and Thu).

    Pay Range: $126,288-$185,222.

    This base salary range is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
