The Homeless Advocacy Project has launched an executive director search to recruit a collaborative leader and effective fundraiser who embraces the HAP's mission and commitment to serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia.

Building on a strong foundation and legacy, the next executive director will lead HAP's strategic direction, maintain its long-term financial sustainability and operational efficiency, and oversee the organization's programs and staff.

The executive director reports to the board and directly manages a staff that includes director of development/communications, legal and advocacy director, director of operations, director of intake and outreach, two project directors, and a senior staff attorney.

The ideal candidate brings a deep passion for HAP's mission and a successful record of organizational leadership and experience developing strong relationships with various audiences, including funders, partners, policymakers, individuals with lived experience, and volunteers.

The ideal candidate is also a dedicated team builder, committed to fostering a positive and supportive culture that reflects HAP's commitment to diversity, racial equity, and inclusion.
